What is Estrada Media Digital Printing?
Well Digital Printing is the use of a high end laser technology to simulate the look of a traditional web press printing. What is beautiful about digital printing is that you don't have to worr about having a large overhead and huge print runs that come with web press printing. Printing digital allows the creator to print from 1 to a 100 units, or whatever fits your needs, and you can always come back and print more to suit your given needs, rather then having to fork over alot of money to print out a thousand units at a time.
Who can use this service?
Anyway can use this service with a comic book. Creators can use this service to print up a new book to sell at cons, or to bypass the hostile direct sales market and sell directly to their viewers over the internet, or by going door to door to their local retail stores.

What if I wanted to print a few pages in color and rest in Black and white?
Yes you can. For rates email me or ask away here.
Is there a minimum number of units I have to print?
Yup. One is the minimum. However, please remember you will have to also pay for shipping and handling charges as well so printing at least a few units will be much more cost effective than printing a single unit.
Is there a maximum number of pages I can print per comic book?
Yes. Right now the rule of thumb is 48 interior pages, that I am able to fold and saddle stitch in the center. The same applies to digest size comics too.
Will to print adult content?
Yes I will print adult content, yet I will not print anything illegal, racist material, defamatory or infringes on another person or company name.
Let me clear up what sort of adult content I will print as well. We'll print anything that can be considered R rated material. However, I will not print anything that is flat out PORN. That just isn't a very smart thing to do plus I don't want to go to jail or deal with the varying degrees throughout the USA or the world at large.
Is there a setup fee?
Nope. However, pre-pre charges may apply to your order if the files you submitted were not up to spec compliance. However, I will email you asking if you want me to correct the problem for a fee, or you could do it yourself. Now if you elect for us to do it, then we will quote you the price for the technical work.
How much are pre-press fees?
We charge 20 dollars per hour for pre-press charges.
How will you be dealing with shipping?
UPS will be our main shipping method in the USA and also for international orders because the shipping fees will always be the lowest.
How much will it cost to ship my order?
You will be charged the exact calculated shipping amount plus 3% of your total order to cover the costs of securely packaging your order.
Where do I place my order?
The process isn't hard at all. Just go to my email, email me the title name, the number of interior pages, and how many units you want. Then you will send me your files. Which should be named accordingly as your Title_Cover,Title_backcover, Title_Inside Frontcover,Title_Inside Backcover,Title_Page1. Also they should be 300 DPI and saved as Tiff files.
I ask that you zip your files, send them to me using either yousendit.com or some other source where I can get to your files rather swiftly.
Can I just send you my pages and have you scan them for me to put my book together?
Yes you can, but it will require a fee of $2 dollars a page.
Plus you will have to cover the return fees of your original artwork.
Can I send you a CD of my files?
Yes you can, but they will have to be in Tiff format, formatted for PC, flattened with no extra layers or channels and in RGB mode for all color files.
Can't I just send you a PDF or some other file type?
Rather you didn't because if you do. Then you will slow the process down along with me charging you a few if I do the tech work.
Whats your address to mail you my CD containing my files?

What methods of payment you accept?
Right now paypal and money orders only.
When will I be billed?
Once I verify the files and are deemed printable, I will email you with your invoice for the full amount due including shipping and handling.
I'd try to get your invoice out to you as quick as possible but please remember it will take a couple of days and I am only human.
Of course payment in full is a must before we will begin printing. Sorry, no ways around that.
How long will it take for me to get my order?
That depends somewhat on you. There are steps in the process which require great attention before we can proceed to the printing, such as you sending me the fgiles, sending payment.
Yet to be honest I would ask that once I have all the files at hand and everything has been verified that you should get your order within three weeks.
So I ask please time accordingly if you want to get your order before a major con you plan on attending.
What about rush jobs?
If you have a rush job, then expect to pay higher charges then other paying customers. Expect to pay 20% higher on your total order.
